Dreaming of: The Grand Budapest Hotel

I'm still thinking about Wes Anderson's new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Besides being hilariously zany, it was so thoroughly visually styled and designed. Pink hotels, saturated colors, clean-lined typography, and exquisite pastries, every scene was delightful to behold. One of my favorite scenes is when young Zero is rushing to get ready for his work as the hotel's bellhop and hastily draws on his signature mustache line, though it comes out crooked, he deems it good. I'm always inspired by Anderson's films, and this is no exception. Have you seen it yet? What was your favorite scene?

Dreaming Of: Florida

Oh, to behold citrus with the leaves still attached, to have toes peeking out of sandals, to wear white blouses and airy skirts, and to walk on the beach! I've been dreaming of all these Florida things, and I'm lucky because I am going to Florida in less than two weeks! I will pull oranges from the tree in my brother's yard, build sandcastles with my niece, and shed all of winter's layers. What have you been dreaming of?
